The Celebration Golf Club boasts a beautiful layout dotted with native magnolia, pine, and oak trees alongside strategic hazards and natural wetlands. It touts a championship golf course that is both fun and challenging. Also at the club is the Windmill Restaurant nestled in the base of Celebration’s landmark windmill. Offering some of the best food in town, this establishment is a great setting for corporate events, birthday celebrations, and more.
Things to Do
Besides the many recreational opportunities in Celebration, there is always something happening at the Celebration Town Center, like farmers markets, fitness classes, Independence Day fireworks, an Oktoberfest celebration, and seasonal festivities. Founders Day Weekend is one of the biggest events of the year and features a Veterans/Founders parade, a party at Lakeside Park, live entertainment, fantastic food, and more.
Come winter, Celebration invites guests and locals to get into the holiday spirit with “Now Snowing,” Central Florida’s premier “snowing” event. Celebration is one of the few areas around to host a synthetic ice rink. Throughout the season, visitors will find the area transformed into a Winter Wonderland, with Dickensian Carolers, horse-drawn carriage rides, photos with Santa, and nightly snowfall.
Of course, Celebration is also neighboring Walt Disney World, making the magical resort and theme park just a few minutes away from anyone who likes to visit throughout the year. Other popular nearby attractions include Discovery Cove Orlando.
